Keeping us all safe
The Minister of Health has encouraged Allied Health Services to remain open. Our Osteopaths are currently operating and keen to continue to provide relief to our patients and help to alleviate pressure on other critical health care systems
In an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, we have implemented a number of government advised strategies to reduce the risk.
- Osteopath to wear protective face mask
- Hand hygiene protocols are being observed at every patient interaction
- No linen or toweling to be used and the treatment table is being sanitised after each appointment.
- Environment cleaning and disinfection; Reception areas and other high traffic areas are routinely sanitised during the day.
- Safe distancing in the waiting room and interacting with reception staff; 1.5m.
- We have revised clinic hours.
- But please be aware that we cannot guarantee the risk is 100% removed.
We are asking patients to reschedule their appointment if;
- You have traveled overseas in the last 14 days
- You have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19
- You have cold/flu-like symptoms including fever, sore throat, shortness of breath or coughing.
Please note you will not be charged a late cancellation fee if you reschedule due to the above reasons.
AND if you are at risk of complication with COVID-19 (eg: pre-existing medical condition, over age of 70) please call us before you come in.
You will also when at the clinic, need to adhere to our safe distancing and hygiene practices;
- We will have hand sanitiser at the clinic for you to use before entering the building, please use.
- We have adhered to the social distancing in the waiting room of 1.5m in between chairs. If the room is fully occupied, please kindly let the reception staff know and are happy for you to wait in the car or outside and we will happily call you when we are ready for the appointment.
- Magazines and toys have been removed from the clinic waiting room for now sorry. So bring a book along or a toy for your kids.
- Be reassured that we will continue to take hygiene at the clinic seriously, and have increased our efforts to ensure this.
- Bring your own drink bottle.
Indoor Spaces: There are new regulations around meeting in enclosed spaces. Our clinic and each room, including the waiting room and treatment rooms are large enough to meet more than the required recommendations.
Your health and safety is, and will always be our main priority. Rest assured we will take all necessary precautions to support this.
