Frequently Asked Questions:

Osteopaths can be visited without a referral from a GP. Osteopaths are primary healthcare practitioners and are trained to recognise conditions which require referral to other medical practitioners or other allied health care practitioners.

Consultation Fees:
Please contact the clinic for current consultation fees/charges. Payment options: Bankcard (Eftpos, MasterCard, AMEX, Visa, Cheque) and Cash

Private Health Fund Rebates:
Many Private Health funds, such as BUPA, Medibank, HCF, AHM, CBHS, NIB, with a whole host of others cover Osteopathic treatment under there extra’s packages. Working with HICAPS at the clinic enables patients to receive their private health cover rebate on the spot as long as you bring your membership card along. This means you only pay the gap on the day of your treatment. The fee varies with each insurer.

Claiming through Medicare:
Osteopathic treatment is covered under Medicare if you are on a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan formerly Enhanced Primary Care, organised by your General Practitioner. TJ is a registered WorkSafe, TAC and DVA service provider. If you are claiming Osteopathic care through WorkSafe, TAC or DVA, we require accounts to be settled on the day of treatment.

Healthy Being Osteopathy Caulfield North is located on the corner of Hawthorn and Glen Eira Rd. Opposite the Glen Eira City Hall. Entry is on Glen Eira Rd. Once you enter the building enter through first door on the left.

  • Tram Services: Route 64 Tram; getting off at stop 54 stops within a short walking distance (10m) from the clinic.
  • Bus Services: Route 623 Bus stops directly in front of Glen Eira City Hall which is also a short walking distance (10m) from the clinic.
  • Parking: There is also ample public parking near the clinic.

Healthy Being Osteopathy Wantirna South is located near the corner of Burwood Hwy and Stud Rd (Opposite Knox Shopping Centre). Entry is on Burwood Hwy. The room is located within the Knox Terrace Specialist Clinic.

  • Bus Services: Multiple Bus services arrive at Knox shopping centre and the clinic is located across the road,short walking distance (10m) from the clinic.
  • Parking: There is also ample public parking near the clinic.
